Debut studio album by the American singer-songwriter. Originally released in 1983, it features the singles ‘Lucky Star’, ‘Borderline’, ‘Holiday’, ‘Everybody’ and ‘Burning Up’. The album has an upbeat synthetic disco sound, using new technology of the time, including the Linn drum machine, Moog bass and Oberheim OB-X synthesizer.
